The original voting system set up by Lancaster University has now closed but residents can still register as supporters or objectors to the scheme by emailing or sending a letter to the addresses below. If you need more information then please get in touch. We are only too happy to discuss the project with you. Residents who wish to register to support the scheme can contact us at the email below. Please provide a full name and address. Households who register as supporters will be invited to community meetings and receive updates on progress. They will also be able to participate in the democratic process of making the Community Plan, through which the profits from the wind turbines will be invested in the local neighbourhood. Cost of membership is £1 per household for a certified share in the new Community Company.
