Below is an announcement from one of our partners, College of Alameda. Their English for Speakers of Other Languages Department is offering free Bridge to Credit Courses in the Community.
Complete all four courses and earn a certificate:
- ESOL 541 A – About Me
Simple questions and answer about you, your neighborhood, shopping, likes, dislikes, the American classroom
- ESOL 541B – Jobs
English for the Workplace, interview skills, connect to CTE programs on campus
- ESOL 541c – Academic Life
More American classroom language. reading college documents, filling out college forms, talking with teachers, registering for credit classes
- ESOL 541 D – Memories
U.S. History, cultural information, important events, adjusting to life in the U.S.
