Explore Career Training
NAAEC connects adult learners in northern Alameda County to hands-on career training programs that lead to real jobs. Whether you’re entering the workforce for the first time, changing careers, or building on existing skills, we can help you find the right path.
Why career training through NAAEC?
NAAEC is a regional consortium of adult schools, community colleges, and school districts working together to make career education more accessible. Our member institutions — including Laney College, Merritt College, Berkeley City College, and Oakland Adult and Career Education — offer a wide range of career-focused programs that fit around your life.
Transition liaisons at each school are available to help you navigate enrollment, move between programs, and connect with support services. You don’t have to figure it out alone.
NAAEC member schools offer career technical education and certificate programs across several in-demand fields. Use the Class Finder Tool to see current offerings near you.
