H.U.M.A.N Family Fun Day is the first annual event focused on casting a healing light on the pervasive marginalization of low income fathers, and fathers of color, in the US. Peer-reviewed research shows clearly what our eyes have long seen: decades of separation and exclusion from the family dynamic have directly contributed to many social ills affecting our children.
EVENT: Man 2 Man will help spread the love to an expected 1,000 children and their fathers by creating a fun-filled day of entertainment, games, friendly competition (Father’s family recipe Pancake cook-off!), and access to community resources. Celebrate with our own Oakland Super Stars, role models, Oakland Police Department, Black Firefighters, the 100 Black Men, and local public servants, to champion and lift-up our fathers!
